The ABSDF student army, which signed the NCA, confirmed that it was attacking the military council forces

ABSDF Chairman Comrade Than Khe confirmed to Rangoon Modern News that the All Burma Students' Democratic Front (ABSDF), which has signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), is now attacking military councils led by terrorist leader Min Aung Hlaing. 

Ethnic armed groups; The ABSDF, along with the People's Defense Forces, is fighting the military council forces, said ABSDF Chairman Comrade Than Khe.

"We are fighting. The fighting is against the dictator all over Burma. We have not been able to sit still. We have been doing this since the beginning of the Spring Revolution," Comrade Than Khe, chairman of the All Burma Students' Democratic Front (ABSDF), told The Irrawaddy.

At around 2 pm yesterday, 15 January, the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the ABSDF (Student Army) fired two artillery shells at two military council ships heading down the Irrawaddy River near Sagaing and Kachin states. The Kachin Independence Army (KIA) claimed responsibility for the attack.

The ABSDF is a student army that emerged from the Eight-Party Uprising and was formed on November 1, 1988. Currently, there are battalions.

 in Kachin and Kayin states and they are fighting with ethnic armed groups.
