Coup leader Min Aung Hlaing said at a military council meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw on August 16 that he will hold a group discussion with 10 ethnic armed groups (EAO) in September.

The coup leader said, "We will meet again a second time. I am trying to meet again this month. All 10 groups will be grouped and discussed once. If it's September, I'll see them all again. I will try to get it signed after that. I can't say how long this will take," he said.
