CDF forces attack military council troops stationed in Kanpetlet township offices

Coup d'état and Chin State; The fighting broke out on the morning of January 31 between the Chin Defense Force (CDF-Kanpetlet) based in Kanpetlet.

Yan Aung Pagoda, Kanpetlet According to a statement from CDF Kanpetlet, the fighting broke out when CDF Kanpetlet troops attacked members of the military council at the township education office and the township administration office.

The fighting lasted from 6:30 am to 8 am, killing three members of the military council. The CDF Kanpetlet retreated unharmed, the statement said.
